I’m the marketing director so I could comment about all the amenities, etc. etc. but I thought I’d comment about working here. I’ve been here 4 years and it is absolutely the best place I’ve ever worked! I love coming to work. I enjoy interacting with the people that live here, there are so many interests, and gifts and so much wisdom and the sense of friendship and community is extremely strong. Plus there is a spirit of freshness and innovation. Garden Spot Village is nationally and internationally recognized. Other communities travel here from across the U.S. and Europe to see how we do things. Plus this year we ran a 26.2 mile marathon off our campus. A bike tour is leaving from our campus in June and we expect around 1,000 cyclists. it is simply an amazing place.

Hi, my name is Marjan and I am the Environmental Services Director at Garden Spot VIllage.
This is a great way to comment on my employment at GSV of nearly six years and it’s all good!
But it’s more than being employed here, it’s my home away from home and I love coming home each morning to be among many friends and “family”.
I don’t think there is one person here “just doing their job”, we all wear many hats and love it.
In my almost thirty year career in the Health Care world, Garden Spot Village,without a doubt has been and still is, my favorite place to keep clean and safe for residents and staff.
Scott is absolutely right in saying that we are an amazing place with lots going on.

What a well kept garden. I might have to think about early retirement and give Garden Spot Village a call. This has to be one of the highest of quality retirement communities that I have ever seen.

I have seen more than my share of retirement villages, and none have been laid out as nicely as this, with numerous options on floor plans. The grounds are beautiful.

A thousand daily thoughtfulnesses
It is such a privilege to live in Garden Spot Village! I still work fulltime, and it is so wonderful to come home to these beautiful grounds. I love a cup of tea on my balcony, looking down on a gazebo, and listening to the splashing fountain. I’m grateful that grounds and buildings are maintained at the highest standards, and I need not stay home to have something repaired in a trustworthy manner. Every day I can choose peace and quiet, or participate in various happy special events, loving interest groups, or fun trips. There are so many options available, that I can design my own lifestyle, always surrounded by friendly, caring neighbors and staff.
It’s fun to participate in knitting, crafting, doing desktop publishing on the computer, talking about travels, or praying together. Our residents are such interesting people! I love being a part of our GSV congregation, participating in our various Bible studies and our Chapel services. To me, Garden Spot Village is a thousand daily thoughtfulnesses! I’m delighted to live here.
